The Law says, 'Do this,' and it is never done. Grace says, 'Believe in this,' and everything is already done.

Therein lies freedom, yes? To know that nothing matters but what HE has been about, that HE is sovereign, that HE can do all things - HE even could have determined our salvation and never have made HIMSELF known to us - but HE did. Why? So we could live obedient lives? Or so we could be the example to all creation of HIS mercy, HIS grace, HIS most holy love - HIS character on display whether we are walking humbly with HIM in gratitude, or despising HIM in our sin. We cannot diminish the magnitude of THE GREAT I AM. So it does not depend on me. Everything depends on HIM. To believe is to be free.
